Dr. Lee was born and raised in Southern California. In 1998, Dr. Lee graduated from UCLA's School of Dentistry where she received Honors in several disciplines, as well as recognition for Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry by the American Society of Dentistry for Children. She was also the recipient of the International Award, Health Careers Scholarship throughout her dental school education. Because of her love for working with children, after receiving her Doctorate Dental Degree, Dr. Lee continued her dental education at UCLA and completed a residency program to become a specialist in Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Lee enjoys being active in the community and frequently leads teams of doctor volunteers on dental mission trips. She is also a Public Health Educator and frequently lectures in community centers and local schools throughout Southern California. In her free time, Dr. Lee enjoys photography, painting, music and going to the beach with her husband Alex, 2 year old son Nico, and their German Shepherd. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Orange County Dental Society, and the Orange County Women's Dental Society.

Dr. Chand grew up in New York and moved to Irvine at the age of 15. She is a graduate of UCLA's School of Dentistry and was the recipient of the Dean's Scholarship. She is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists and was an honors student throughout her college education at UC Irvine, graduating Cum Laude. Dr. Chand enjoys cooking, traveling and leading dental mission teams overseas. She has a heart for underdeveloped countries and is proud to use her dental background to help those in need. She is currently working to open a non profit medical /dental facility in Thailand.

Dr. Chand is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentists, Orange County dental Society, and the Orange County Women's Dental Society.

Dr. Wu is a graduate from the UC San Francisco School of Dentistry which remains as one of the top orthodontic programs in the nation. She completed a specialty program in Orthodontics in addition to a Masters Degree in Craniofacial Sciences and received several research grants and awards. Dr. Wu attends numerous continuing education courses each year to stay on top of the latest trends and techniques in the field of Orthodontics. She uses the most sophisticated and state-of-the-art technology, including self ligating brackets and Invisalign, to move teeth efficiently with as little force as possible in an effort to ease discomfort. Dr. Wu is a member of the ADA, CDA, AAO (American Association of Orthodontists), and PCSO (Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists).

Dr. Wu grew up in San Diego and plans to move to Irvine with her husband and new baby boy Ethan. When not creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Wu enjoys spending time with family and close friends, as well as outdoor activities including running, snowboarding, tennis and camping.

Nancy is our friendly office manager. Nancy has been in the dental field for over 10 years. She has two young boys, Jacob age 3, and Justin age 8. She loves spending time with her family, cooking, and shopping.

"We have the best patients and families at ICD. I just love getting to know everyone. The children make my job fun!"

Julie has over 20 years in the dental field. She is one of our fun and social front office receptionists. Julie loves animals (especially dogs) and outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Kirstie is one of our front office receptionists. She has been in the dental field for over 14 years. Kirstie lives in Orange with her husband Orlando and their very active 6 year old son Nathaniel. Kirstie enjoys exercising and shopping.

Sara is our part time front office assistant. She plans to study Business someday. She enjoys reading and her dream is to one day move to Seattle to open up a bakery.

Gina is our full time dental assistant and office administrator. What many people do not know about Gina is that she is a dentist from the Philippines. Gina's dental knowledge is extensive due to her educational background and years of experience. Gina is happily married to her husband Pete and is the proud mother of two children Rachel (age 9), and David (age 6). In her free time, Gina enjoys gardening and making greeting cards.

"I drive 50 miles to work daily. I would not commute 3 hours a day for a practice I didn't truly believe in. Of my 25 years in the dental field, Irvine Children's Dentistry is by far the best quality office I have been in."

Martha has two wonderful children. Her son Fred is an instructor pilot for the Air Force and her daughter Carmen, is studying to be a technical theater director. Both Martha and her daughter Carmen are talented artists. On weekends they are often found painting murals throughout Southern California.

Lyzett has been working as a dental assistant for over 8 years and takes pride in her position. She will always greet you with a smile and can be counted on to make sure your visit is a success. Lyzett enjoys traveling with her husband Jimmy and working out with her best friend, a miniature pinature named "Harley".

"We all care a lot for our patients. We give our kids lots of attention and love so they feel comfortable here."

Leanh grew up in Vietnam and comes from a family of health professionals. As a child, she often traveled with her father, who as a physician, had a strong desire to help communities in need. Leanh's two brother's are also both doctors and her daughter Anh is pre med at UCI. Leanh received her RDA in San Jose at Foothill College in 1980 and has worked as a dental assistant ever since. Leanh has many life experiences as she has lived in different parts of the world (Paris and Africa to name a few!). Leanh enjoys sports and is a very health conscious individual. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, tennis, and sewing.

Katarina is one of our part time dental assistants. She began her dental education in Europe and she is a great asset to our team. She enjoys spending time with her nephews, soccer, surfing and biking. She hopes to pursue a career as a dentist someday.
